Visitation, Funeral and Graveside services have been released for Captain Nipper. All functions are planned for Wednesday December 28th.

Raleigh Local 548 Member Loses Life in Off-Duty Automobile Crash

Raleigh Fire Department Captain Jonathan “Scott” Nipper was killed in a head-on collision on Wednesday December 21st. Captain Nipper’s 10 year old Daughter “Gracie” was seriously injured and was airlifted to Duke Medical Center. Nipper was a 15 year veteran of RFD and a member of Local 548.

Former DVP Pickens Laid to Rest
