The PFFPNC e-newsletter for June 9-13 is now posted and includes information on a new executive order that President Donald Trump has signed, “Empowering Commonsense Wildfire Prevention and Response.” The order is aimed at improving our country’s ability to combat the growing threat of wildfires by directing the Department of Agriculture and the Department of the Interior to consolidate their wildland fire programs and mandating that these departments work to strengthen partnerships with state and local agencies within 90 days.
