2025 PFFPNC Convention
Register Now!
The PFFPNC Convention is held every other year and brings together professional firefighters and paramedics from across North Carolina to engage in meaningful dialogue, leadership development, and union business. Delegates participate in committee meetings, vote on key resolutions, and attend sessions focused on member advocacy, health and safety, and labor relations. The convention also honors the service and sacrifice of our members while setting priorities for the future of the organization.

The PFFPNC e-newsletter for September 1-5 is now posted and includes information on a newly awarded $7 million federal grant from the Department of Energy and the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. This five-year grant, awarded to the IAFF, will double its training capacity for nuclear facility HazMat response and expand into new areas of critical training. The grant represents a 30 percent increase over prior funding levels and marks a significant commitment to equipping firefighters across the country with the skills needed to protect workers and the public.
