The PFFPNC newsletter for December 8–12 is now posted and highlights how Asheville fire fighters turned the challenges of Hurricane Helene into lasting improvements in readiness and resilience. After facing dangerous flood rescues while dealing with damage to their own homes and stations, IAFF Local 322 used community donations to invest in long-term solutions, including sending 16 members to intensive swift-water rescue training in West Virginia.
